New York Knicks vs Boston Celtics

The New York Knicks are desperately in need of a Good Friday blessing. The Boston Celtics roll into the real “garden,” tonight, and we just believe that the Knicks will send them reeling. The Knicks must win tonight. Mark my words, if they do not win tonight, they will be swept by the Boston Celtics. Tonight is a pivotal night, and if Amare can stand up he has to play. Not winning game three will be like pulling them off the respirator. It will only be three days and they will not resurrect.

As I follow the series, it is very interesting and those who are rooting for Boston Celtics need to be more concerned for them than Knicks fans are about being swept. If they had just a “little bit of luck” they would be up 2-0. The New York Knicks have garnered new respect and love because of how they have been playing. They are playing with heart and it should pay off. It would be too sad if they don’t win even one game. Madison Square Garden should be rocking tonight and hopefully the New York Knicks can pull this one out. They must score over 100 if they want to win.

Today has great significance for the Knicks. This is Passover and Easter weekend for those who believe accordingly. Even though being down 2-0 looks bad, the Knicks are due for a “Good Friday” and a “resurrection” Sunday.

Carmelo Anthony showed that he is a big time player and he can handle the bright lights. When Amare went down he took the team on his back and he just missed it by three points. I predict a Knicks blowout at the real garden on Friday night.

I am not a New York Knicks fan but I want them to win even one game. They deserve a win. They have played with heart, soul, guts, and the glory is coming.

I told you that if Knicks does not play up tempo basketball game and score over 100 they are going to lose by 6 points or less. Sunday they lost by two tonight they lose by three. Read my blogs.

All the people who were clamoring for them to play defense, well they’re playing it and they’re not winning any games. What do you have to say now? The knicks need to play their style. Score 150 points if you have to, just make sure your opponent score 149. The issue here is that you need defense and offense. Defense alone will not do it, you need both.

Things look bright for the Knicks because Amare was out and Billups was out. On Friday they should win game 3 if they score over 100. Anything under 100 and they lose and will get swept and that would be a shame. Knicks really need some MSG (Madison Square Garden).

The Running of the Bulls- Chicago Bulls

The NBA playoffs are in full swing and so far, apart from Orlando Magic, San Antonio Spurs, and Los Angeles Lakers, the top seeded teams are winning, but they are not convincing.  Again, Indiana Pacers have been able to withstand the “Bull run,” so far, and are showing they belong in the playoffs.  I did not see much of them during the regular season, so I am really surprised to see how well they are playing Chicago.  It is just a pity they did not win game one.  It seems quite a daunting task for them to upset the Bulls, but they should be able to win even one game. 

 The Chicago Bulls are relying on one player an dif he has an off night they are done.  So, looking at them going to the finals will be very challenging.  They cannot beat the Miami Heat nor the Boston Celtics with one player.  This is the playoffs and everybody ought to step up.  Had it been any other team, the Bulls would be down 0-2 right now.  Rose is blooming but it’s time for Boozer and the others to come to play and help Rose.  If rose gets worn out from the first round, what chances do they have when they get to the second round?  I am not cheering for the Bulls, except if the Celtics cannot make it over the Heat, I see them beating the Heat. 

Indiana Pacers have no reason to hang their heads.  They just need to try and win one game.  Don’t focus on winning the series against the Bulls, just try to win one while they only have one Chicago Bull do to deal with.  They don’t want a real bull run an dnow is the time to get that one win.  There are other teams who should be thinking the same.  The New York Knicks just need to win tonight.  Win tonight an dcome to MSG with the series tied and take it from there. 

I am not concerned about Chauncy Billups being out, because it is clear if the Knicks play at Celtics Speed they will always come up short.  They need Thomas to run the point and pick up the pace.  Score 120 if you can or else you will be going out in four games and with loses of 6 points or less in each game.  I am not a Knicks fan, but I love what’s going on with the Knicks.  I like it that Amare and Carmelo were not afraid to come to New York and play their hearts out. Even if you are not a Knicks fan you have to love Carmelo and Amare just because you are a New Yorker.

New York Knicks vs Boston Celtics – Bring It On!

Last night the Boston Celtics rested their starters against Washington. The Seventy-Sixers lost and then the Miami Heat beat Atlanta Hawks, so Boston finished third and will therefore play the number six, which happens to be the New York Knicks.

Earlier in the regular season, when there was a talk of rivalry, Paul Pierce said “what rivalry?” Well, Paul, I like Boston Celtics because I think the guys are a really nice bunch, but when Amare came to New York I was very happy for them. It still did not make me a Knicks fan, but the fact that they are trying so hard, and with the coming of Carmelo Anthony, I definitely want to see them do well.

So, Boston Celtics, you should have won your division because the New York Knicks are sending you home early this year. Hey Paul, It’s not a rivalry, it’s WINNING!
