Hello There,
I am a NY Yankee fan and I am very pleased to see that Derek Jeter will remain a Yankee. I know many people out there could not care less, but I certainly did not want to see him going to Boston. That would have been a tragedy. The way the Yankee organization initially handled the negotiations was really low. Did they really want Derek to take his talents up north? He clearly stated he wanted to retire a Yankee. Why were they willing to throw money at people who have not proven themselves to the Yankee organization, yet, dragging Derek Jeter’s laundry in the public? Cliff Lee did not win the world Series for Texas, so what’s the big deal? Anyway, today is a great day for all New York Yankee fans and real baseball fans. Number 28 next year for sure.
