Ground and Pound New York Jets
Hello JETS FANS
The New York Jets are playing the Seattle Seahawks this weekend and in Starbucks country -they better not drink the coffee. The New York Jets are coming off their by-week and everyone is watching to see how they will respond. If they didn’t garner the will to win during this off week, they are putting themselves on the road which leads to the point of no return. My guess is the Seahawks will be ready, they will have the coffee brewed and ready for the NY Jets. My advise to the New York Jets is simple, don’t drink the coffee. Instead, they need to get back to their original platform of ground and pound.
Jets: Ground and Pound
The Barack Obama election campaign team has mastered the game of ground and pound. Starting from the first run for president four years ago, the Obama Team knew that if they could get people on the ground, pounding the pavement, meeting the people where they are, they would create a momentum that would be hard to stop.
Four years later they did it again, and Mitt Romney never saw that coming. The point here is that when Rex Ryan came to New York City he said this is the type of team we are, “Ground and Pound.” For two years the NY Jets did just that and made it all the way to the conference championship. Last year they went away from that and so far this season, they have gotten away from it. If they want to get back on the winning trail they better get back to their ground and pound formula. Mitt Romney flip flopped on the issues and he lost the Presidential election 2012. The New York Jets need to get back to their ground an pound game on Sunday.
Tim Tebow and the New York Jets
Tim Tebow is a quarterback. He played that position last season in Denver. Why did the New York Jets bring Tim Tebow to New York, send him out to do a press conference when the head coach and others were out of town? Why is he here? Every week we hear that Mark Sanchez is the Jets quarterback, despite his dismal performance. Why is Tim Tebow being given these foolish one minute roles to get hurt? He might not be the best quarterback, but he is a quarterback. Why then is he not playing? Please comment.
The Jets Have It
The New York Jets play tonight on CBS in prime time. That’s what it’s all about. The Jets belong in the prime time regardless of what anyone else thinks. Ever since Rex Ryan came to New York he made it clear that the Jets were about to wake up sleeping Giants. They have done that. People are not giving the Jets and Rex Ryan and Mark Sanchez much credit because they forgot the New England Patriots were stealing the signals from the other teams including the Jets.
Has anyone noticed that since the scandal they haven’t won anything? What are your thoughts on the upcoming NFL football season and how do you think the Jets and the Patriots will do. Please leave your comments here.
JETS THEY CAN. JETS THEY DID!Jets Upset Patriots
Congratulations to the New York Jets for pulling off the biggest upset of the NFL Playoffs so far. All the so-called “experts” and “sports analysts” owe the Jets an apology today. They all but had given the Superbowl to Tom Brady and the Jets have them back paddling and changing their stories. Well, enough about the so-called “experts” and “polls” and “predictions.
The Jets proved that if you do an correct assessment of who you are and you believe in yourself, there is but one more thing to do, and that is to turn a deaf ear to everyone else. There comes a time in your life when you cannot depend on anybody to toot your horn for you. You have to toot your own horn. Except for the Jet fans, their fans and a few rational people, no one else gave them a chance, but whose still playing now.
All right, I think the point has been made that the Jets did what very few expected them to do. That was a wonderful comeback from their 45-3 humiliation a few weeks earlier. This time they showed the world that they are worthy to take the field in Arlington, Texas on February 6. At this time only the Jets can halt their progress and I believe they have come through too much adversity to do that now. The Patriots are not a bad team, but they were not as invincible as people were making them out to be. Last year the Ravens beat them for the divisional championships. Then everybody gave the Ravens credit for being a great defense. This year the Ravens got beaten by Steelers, people say the Ravens gave the game away. Make up your minds. Here is a question for those “experts” on television and radio. During the time when the Patriots were winning, was that the same time of the “Spygate?” Someone can do the research on that and leave a comment.
For now, the Jets will jet off to Pittsburgh to meet Big Ben. The Jets have history on their side. They know they can beat Big Ben and with higher stakes to play for, they will show those who still don’t believe. It is still loser go home; but this time the winner goes to the Superbowl. Jets Can! Jets They Can!
Teams Playing With House Money
Are the Chicago Bears and the Atlanta Falcons> playing with House money this weekend? Many people
know that possessing the ball is key to winning the game. Possessing the ball in the sense of taking time off the clock and holding the ball securely are the main keys to victory in a football game. Teams that turn the ball over very rarely win. The NY Giants are watching the game on TV because they turned the ball over too many times. Michael Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles are home because Vick threw an interception that sent them flying off into the winter.
The teams that are still playing know that possession is 90 percent of the game. So, having said that, are the home teams in this weekend NFL Divisional Championship games playing with house money in the nfl playoffs this weekend? Are they expected to win and if they don’t win will it be a disappointment to their players and fans. Which home team playing in the division championships this upcoming weekend do you think is not expected to win and is therefore playing with house money?
NY Jets and Indy Colts
Hello football fans and Jets fans, well it is almost here. The New York Jets charter plan has just touched down in Indianapolis. Only this time it is personal. Way to go Rex and the Jets.
I am a New York Giants fan, but I must admit that I will be rooting for the Jets. It will be another case of David and Goliath, and just as it was in the Bible, David seems like he has no chance, but on Monday morning many
experts are going to be eating their words.
We know who Peyton is, but he is not the Peyton of three years ago. When last did the Colts win a Superbowl? If he were, how come he only has one ring. He has the same number of rings as his brother, Eli Manning, whom we would say is not as great. Also, if I am not mistaken, I think his brother got his about three years ago. So, all you Colts fans, root for your team, but this is it. The Jets win big over the Colts tomorrow with a score of 30 to 19.
