No More Bull Run
The Miami Heat was too much for a Chicago “Bull” run and just like that the team with the MVP, coach of the year, and best record in the NBA regular season are off to play golf. Last night the Miami Heat came with a late surge and won 83 to 80. More and more it is looking like the Heat are going to win it all. The Chicago Bulls wilted under the heat and just were not able to run. Too much heat.
Where does the Bulls go from here? Are we going to see a change in their roster? Does the fact that Miami has the big three make it a must for other teams with one superstar to seek help? Boston did it first and won. Now Miami did it and they are back in the NBA finals 2011.
What does that mean for Dwight Howard, and Chris Paul? Are they going to stay where they are and never win anything or are they going to try to team up with other superstars? The off season is going to be very interesting to say the least. There will be many moves as teams try to get in a position to compete. Stay tuned!
Heat Burned The Bulls Last Night
The writing is on the wall whether we want to read it or not. The Chicago Bulls are not doing well in the heat. Last night in a must win game they came up short in overtime. The team with the best record in the NBA, the team with the MVP, the team with the coach of the year, and the team with the best record in the NBA is on its last leg and could be done by tomorrow night.
History is not on their side. They cannot and will not come back from 3-1 to win. That just goes to show that if you don’t have anything left in the tank for the post season, then you’re going down and out regardless of your regular season record.
Derek Rose is clearly burnt out. He carried the Chicago Bulls through the regular season and now he is drained. This is one “Rose” that’s fading fast. Better luck next year. As much as we did not want to see the Heat win – the writing is on the wall. No need to watch anymore. Derek Rose is great but he is not greater than Jordan. There is no one greater. Let’s give Lebron James his due. We don’t like how he jilted Cleveland Cavaliers with “The Decision,” but he is the best player in the NBA. Is that how you feel? If not, please leave your comments.
Thunder and Durant Reeling – Not Rolling
Last night Jason Kidd and the Dallas Mavericks showed that they were not afraid of the rolling of the Thunder. It did not scare them as little children are when they hear “thunder.” Instead of the Thunder rolling they are reeling. Last night and throughout the series, Jason Kidd is playing like a 22 year old and it is amazing.
I had the privilege of meeting Jason Kidd and he is one of the most gracious sports personality I have met so far. It would be a shame for him not to win a ring. He deserves to win a ring. Terry and Dirk are also deserving of a win. Most sports fan will recall in 2006 when they were up in the series against Miami Heat and they let it slip them. Everything is pointing to a rematch with the Heat. I have no doubt Dallas can pull it off this year. They are playing with a sense of urgency as if the world is coming to an end. In fact, the prediction has been revised and will now occur on October 21. That means the Dallas Mavericks need to win now.
Is the tide turning in favor of Dallas? Are they being battle-tested now to face the Heat in the finals? Do you believe the Chicago Bulls can even up the series tonight or are they done? I believe the Bulls are done. Better luck in the next world. There is no one greater than Michael Jordan. No one.

Chicago Bulls Ready For Bull Run
The NBA 2011 season is drawing to a close and the teams that are left are exciting to watch, but apart from Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, Derek Rose and Carlos Boozer, everybody else seems to be from Cheers, “Nobody knows their names.” If I watch any more games here on, it is because I am a sports fan. Other than that, I am not interested. I can guess many people are like that too. I was speaking with a friend recently and he said he doesn’t follow it anymore. He has more interest in baseball now. What are your thoughts on the conference finals?
It would be safe to say that the Heat vs Bulls conference finals is what most sports fan predicted and wanted to see. I believe the NBA champions will come from the east. For all the Heat haters, you better root for the Bulls. It’s not the Jordan Bulls, but the Bulls led by Derek Rose is a formidable team. I think in this series we are going to see Lebron James play like he’s out of his mind because he wants this one. Winning this championship after the debacle of “The Decision” will bring satisfaction to him and silence his critics. I only saw D. Rose play a few games and he is great, but this series is a high stakes series and is even more climatic than the finals, because it’s either the Heat gets “gored” by the Bulls or the Bulls succumb to Heatstroke.
Whatever happens – this is where the NBA will up their ratings. I much as I don’t want to see the heat win, I predict Heat in a sweep as Bulls succumb to heatstroke.
