Lebron James played great in Cleveland as he always does. I don’t know if he saw Betty White but it seems to me they are both Hot In Cleveland. Anyway, on a serious note, Lebron managed to capture the spotlight a little from Jeremy Lin of the New York Knicks and made headline news by saying he would not rule out going back to play for Cleveland. His sentiments are genuine because what Lebron is learning is that if the grass is greener on the other side the water bill is higher too.

The Grass Might Be Greener But the Water bill Is Higher

It is an object lesson that we all learn later rather then sooner. Lebron is realizing that what he was looking for was right where he was and traveling all the way to South Beach was not the answer because he could not get away from himself. It is possible he will win a title in Miami before his two year opt out clause kicks in, but now he has just put added pressure on himself and his Miami Heat team mates by saying he is keeping his options open.

Lebron’s Return to Cleveland

When you want to keep your options open you do not burn your bridges behind you. If Lebron James and the Miami Heat don’t win people will say it’s because he is not happy in Miami. I don’t know the young man, but from what I see of him, he craves a type of approval that he is not getting in the house that Dwayne Wade built.

Don’t Burn Your Bridges Too Soon

Many times in life we get discontented with our lives because we do not think the pieces of the puzzle are falling into place quickly enough. As a result, we think we must get up and leave. Many times we leave in our discontent and as a result we burn our bridges and hurt people in the process. There is no doubt that the kind of money the Cleveland Cavaliers lost initially and are losing now, they could recover if he returns. At this moment in time we just have to wait and see.

Carmelo Anthony can now play his true position. He was doing too many things and now with Jeremy Lin being a true point guard, Melo can play his own position and we will see the New York Knicks move up the charts and become a contender and no longer a pretender.

Carmelo Anthonyis being criticized unfairly because he was playing out of position. He had to be playing point guard, power forward, forward and everything in between. This is what Melo and Amare needed and now they have it. Let us give them a chance to play and then we can decide.

LINsanity with Precision

The biggest story in sports now is Linsanity. Even the New York Times is paying attention and there is so much going on that they don’t even have to make up anything. The truth of the matter is that you could not make this up. Jeremy Lin was cut by two teams who did not see his value and talent. Then when he got called up for the New York Knicks he was on the bench and two days away from being cut. In the second half of the Knicks versus Nets game he was ut in the game and he showed that he had what it took all along.

You Could Be The Next Jeremy Lin

Linsanity teaches us that if you prepare, do what you need to do and maintain a good attitude and spirit, even if you are despised, overlooked, undervalued, and are forgotten at the end of the bench of life, your opportunity will surely come. It may not come when you want it but it will come when you need it. NBA basketball is exciting again, New York Is buzzing, people are spending money and people are caught up in the feeling of euphoria. That is what can happen if you do not give up.

Valentine’s Day is a full three days and about 14 hours away, depending on your part of the universe. There are many Valentine’s Day traditions and custom that people embrace. Some see it as a day for lovers and therefore they give gifts to their significant others. Some see it as a day to send a message to their significant other that they are moving on and so you keep hoping the phone will ring, you keep hoping he’ll ring the doorbell and surprise you, and little did you know it is over. So, ladies in particular, be wise about this Valentine’s Day coming up and don’t be caught off guard.

These three days leading up to Valentine’s Day are critical. Look for the signs he’s going to do a disappearing act. Don’t end up crying in your pillow on Valentine’s night. You are better than that. You are amazing. You are gifted. You bring more to the table than money. If he does a disappearing act on Valentine’s Day, don’t take him back the day after. If he can’t do some good deeds on Valentine’s Day, when is he going to do it?

Valentine’s Day and Flowers

Flowers and Valentine’s Day seem to go hand in hand. According to statistics the chocolate and flowers combination are biggest on Valentine’s Day. On Mother’s Day flowers beat Valentine’s Day hands down. Why is flowers such a popular gift item? Maybe it’s because they are so beautiful and smell so nice. Your guess is as good as mine, but, the florists are happy when February 14 rolls around.

Valentine’s Day is for Everyone

Some people feel that because they do not have a significant other they cannot enjoy Valentine’s Day. Listen, Valentine’s Day is for everybody. You can send your customers, your clients, friends, co-workers or anybody a Valentine’s Day card, greeting, or a gift. Love gives, and we really should not wait until Valentine’s Day to show and tell.
