Happy New Year’s Eve!
Earlier today I was in Times Square, New York City. I arrived around 11:00 am and the crowd was already thick. The frenzy and the excitement in the air must be experienced. Times Square is really where the action is. The photos you see were taken in Times Square earlier today. The atmosphere was electric. You could purchase 2012 blinking plastic glasses for $5. There were also these little stools to sit on. The vendor demonstrated it, but I was not willimg to pay $15 for it. There was so much to see and do. If you have never been to New York City for New Year’s Eve, you’ve got to put it on ypour bucket list.
Ok! So after the ball drops where do you go and what do you do? You have a lot of choices right there in Times Square. Just around the corner you have Madame Tussaud, Believe It Or Not, and AMC theatre. They all are having parties with special guests. Also, there are many clubs, restaurants, and bars right in Times Square. If you are more adventurous, take the NY Waterway bus (free ride) to Pier 84 and you can board the Circle Line for a harbor cruise. Go on line and check if you need a ticket in advance.
If you are in Times Square you will have enough to keep you partying all night. Be safe! Have fun! Bring camera and wear comfortable shoes.
