Steve Jobs: The Other Apple

We Miss You Steve

Hello world,

The news of the passing of Steve Jobs, Apple co-founder and former CEO has really created shock waves.  The world has lost a giant of a man in the form of Steve Jobs.  Even though I did not know him personally, using Apple products gave me that connection.  It is funny how even people we do not know personally can have an impact on us that is hard to comprehend.  I can only imagine what is going through the minds of those who knew Steve Jobs personally.

Steve Jobs is our modern-day Thomas Edison.  He was not afraid to be creative and be ridiculed until everybody else caught up.  We can all learn from Steve Jobs.  You have creativity in you.  Don’t let people put you into a box that they are trying to get out of.   Why can’t you be the next Steve Jobs?  Creative ideas are locked up inside of you and it’s time to let them out.

It has been said that you will either be remembered for the problems you create or the problems you solve.  The question to ponder as we reflect on the life and accomplishments of Steve Jobs is, “What problem will I solve?”  It might be the cure for cancer.  It might be alternate sources of energy, it might be as simple as raising your children with good morals, values and character.  Whatever it is, do it today.  Let the words of Psalm 90:12 help us to use the time we have wisely.  It says, Teach us to number our days…that we may gain a heart of wisdom.  May Steve Jobs now rest in peace.
