New York is excited to throw their support behind the New York Yankees as they take the road trip to championship 28. Yankees and Detroit Tigers tonight at 8:30pm at Yankee Stadium, the cathedral. That’s the only news of the day and I can’t wait for the game to begin! This is the greatest season if you are a sports fan. Yankee Nation don’t care what Las Vegas says, because they had the San Francisco Giants vs Boston Red Sox in the World Series. Vegas knows best, huh! Yankee Nation always believe.
Well, the NY Yankees will have more home games than away games and that is great. It gives Yankee nation more opportunities to “root, root, for the home team.” How does the Yankees really stack up against the Detroit Tigers? Does the Yankees have what it takes to beat the Tigers? I believe the Yankees stack up very well. Well, baseball postseason 2011 is here so it’s time to play ball. They have poise, experience, confidence, and skill. That should prevent them from getting ripped by the Tigers.
Major League Baseball (MLB)was at its peak last night. What an amazing end to a topsy turvy season of baseball. It was epic! The big news in sports this morning is as follows: Boston Red Sox are out and that is just great. I am a New York Yankees fan. The Braves are out as they allowed the Philies to beat them. That doesn’t even shake the baseball world as Atlanta Braves has been missing the post season for a while. Later in the night, the New York Yankees gave up a 7-0 lead and Tampa Bay Rayslive to play another day. Now, the teams that gutted it out are moving on. For a Yankees fan all I can say about the Boston Red Sox is hey! Hey! Hey! Goodbye
At the start of this season Boston Red Sox was predicted by experts to win it all. In early September the same experts said Boston was running away with the division and the Yankees would be the wild card. But the real experts are those that put on a uniform and go out and play the game. Yankees Nation are ready to get behind their team and support them to 28. One of the questions we have to ask as a sports fan is, what happened to the Boston Red Sox? What really happened? Thanks to Baltimore Orioles for WINNING and sending Boston Red Sox home. What should Yankee Nation be saying to Boston Red Sox? Na-na-naa naa, na- na naa- naa, hey, hey, hey, good-bye!
The Rays pulled off an epic win by coming back from seven runs down to beat the Yankees and book their ticket to the post season as a wild card. That was sheer grit and determination. It just goes to show that even if the experts don’t pick you and even if you’re down in the valley, if you make up your mind to get up and out- you will. You have a say in your destiny. Today, learn from the Yankees, they were supposed to be the wild card, yet they won their division. You can learn from Tampa Bay Rays, they came out of nowhere and mowed Boston Red Sox, passed them and won the wild card spot. Never, never give up.
Don’t sweat it if you don’t have a professional camera, you be the professional and let the camera be the camera. Photographers should always have a camera- always. Whenever you don’t have a camera is when you see something you know you should capture and maybe your only savior will be your camera phone.
Photographers always want the best shot but sometimes you just have to get the shot. Camera phones are not going to give you the best quality pictures, but they will give you pictures. Nonetheless, getting the picture is what’s important. Well, you guessed it! Many times I leave home without my camera (didn’t listen to the ad that said, “don’t leave home without it.” So, from time to time I see things in and around my favorite city, New York City, and my blackberry camera phone was snappy.
The pictures you see were all taken with my camera phone. What’s the point of this blog post? Get the picture even if it’s with a camera phone. Photographers always see something to shoot, so don’t lament the fact that you wish you had your Mark II or Mark V, just get the shot. Photography is about moments and moments are fleeting.
Fall season is here.
Nature is ready to put on a show. Make sure you take some time to really enjoy the rich beautiful colors of the trees and shrubs. I love fall season because of the rich vibrant colors of the leaves. it is breath-taking.
In New York there are great places to see the fall foliage. Central Park is one place. There is also the Adirondacks, the Taconic Parkway, Woodbury Commons, just to name a few. Fall is an awesome time to see how nature mixes and matches colors. You can get a few fashion tips on what colors go great together. Even if you are not a professional photographer, you can still go out and capture some beautiful pictures. Stack up on memory cards when you see them on sale. Don’t put all your pictures on one card. Well, get out there and get that postcard picture. Feel free to comment.
I just completed a book of 31 wisdom principles for success. It will soon be available on Apple’s IBookstore and on Barnes and Noble for Nook owners. I just found out that if you can download a digital reader from Adobe so you can read ePub books on your computer. The process took me a about 3 hours because it has to be formatted a certain way. You have to put in the Table of Contents using heading 1, heading 2 and heading 3, and you have to remove page numbers. Why? Because E-book readers can adjust the size of the font so they need free-flowing text. As I am going through the process of determining whether it is better to send your manuscript to a book publisher hoping you’ll get a contract or go with a print on demand publisher. It is really an interesting concept and when my book appears in the stores I will tell you exactly what to do.
