Karma “melo” Drama in Denver

Carmelo Drama with New Jersey Nets is Over

Hello people of the sports world and NBA basketball fans in particular. I hope you are having a great day so far. How many of you really thought the Carmelo Anthony trade to the Nets was going to happen? Come on now! This was just too good to be true. Why would Anthony go to a team that was going to trade away all their best players? Who would he play with when he got there? That’s the same question Lebron James had to answer at the end of his contract in Cleveland. Why go to a team where you are the only piece of the puzzle?

Now that the deal is off teams like the Knicks and the Bulls can look on their benches and see if they can make an offer. At least in the case of the Knicks they have Amare and at least five other good players that they could send one or two to Denver. They should not need to touch their starting five to get this done.

if they cannot get Carmelo without giving away everybody, then they should leave the “Melo” drama alone. If he wants to take his chances and wait to become a free agent, then so be it.

Prokorov is a sensible businessman. He said it was going to cost too much and there comes a time when no matter how much money you have, you still have to count the cost.

Danny Walsh, it’s time to get Lady Gaga in here for the Po-Po-Po-Po-Po-Poker Face.”
